mm not really, imagine the amount of time skips between actual big card drawing events, woulda been a filler episodes worth taking away from the fact this manga/anime is entirely about revenge

Kind of agree.. this was pretty much like a filler episode cud hv shown it properly without time skip and removed this filler episode.. but i dont think i’ll drop it expecting it to be good from next episode.. but ya i wud hv loved seeing a few episodes bfor the time skip

manga had the same time skip mostly, although there was an in between section, cant remember if it was in memory format but it was of those 3 months mentioned in this episode
The whole reason for the time skip was to move to the start of his revenge against his former party. They whole focus of both the manga and the anime is to move to the revenge portion, and it does make more sense as the story progresses…
