It isn’t as similar to or a continuation of Anne with an E as I’d hope but I found something else I really like about this series that made me start to watch it as something of its own self and that is the sisterhood/girlhood/bond the characters have with eachother, specifically Diana and Anne. It is just so pure and loving that I have to give this a watch as Anne Shirley and not just a continuation of Anne with an E. Also the bond Anne has with Matthew and Marilla, beautiful.
