Ofc this s**t happens when she’s crossed the line and now has no way back. :facepalm: Why do the ‘worst’ things always happen when things are too broken to fix…
A couple of episodes ago Ko asked Nanuska what wouldve caused detective (Aoki?) to resent vampiers and now we know why. As Nanuska asked explained back then, theoretically it possible to bleed a human out dry/soulless but she didnt think it would happen. What the real mystery is why/how Aoki’s father became a vampire just after trying to use his Aokis gifted lighter unless if the one who he was seeing with was the vampire that no other vampire seem to know abt – the one who captured Ko’s best bro..?
I think the mistress made him a vampire but the lighter was the thing he loved most from being human (eg. its his weakness) and when he held it he turned into a frenzied state
