It is. The original series was broadcast back in the 70s or 80s.
I still remember the theme song, and it is still good.
First, this looks like something out of the 70s or 80s in art style, but I actually don’t mind that. It’s given me a bit of nostalgia for anime from that time. I’m just not sure if it is enough to overcome my next few points. Second, this first episode feels like it is kind of jumping in to a story that was already several seasons old. Does your mom chew your food for ya first too ?? It was NOT that hard to get into, and yes the show is from ’83 with 73 episodes, and it’s part of the Lupin universe, and has the same plot of thinks he knows everything but is an idiot detective.
