Machu has got to have one of the best backgrounds we’ve ever seen in the Gundam franchise, certainly the cushiest for a protagonist. Wealthy with plenty of options, two living parents who don’t view her as a tool for their own ambitions, and she has the potential to be a well to do wealthy woman in her own right if she could get her act together and decide on what she wants.
