Why did I actually like this episode?! Seriously, by all rights I should have hated it! I _just_ got through pointing at yet another series for being a clone plot without trying and instead trying to get by on just adding well worn memes. I saw one episode of that, and the other clones of this season and decided I never needed to see a second episode of that. Then I see this series. No way! Ive read a lot online manga so seeing this while scrolling the videos totally caught me by surprise … It’s your typical weak MC gets betrayed by his party only then to become OP premise BUT —> the unique direction they went with his OP + the MC totally indulging in his desires for revenge had me binge reading the series.
The kind of anime where u can’t wait to see the 2nd episode
I mean looks like a very generic ‘somehow betrayed and sent to the bottom of the really difficult place then became super op and went to the surface and did cool stuff’ anime which is apparently a genre now. I could’ve guessed that from the name, but yeah not watching this.
