Hey Spunky, duk if there’s a planned Season 2? Or is it not confirmed yet/left on the manga?
Looks like there will be a Season 2.
Is that the end of the whole series? It doesn’t seem to be that way…
In other news, his master’s story was almost so tragic. He almost watched his whole family die in that hospital.
Nah not even close, more like if you consider the manga in total it would be broken down to about 2 arcs, and this is more like arc 1 complete. So much more happens in the next arc, which should take I guesstimate would take about another season to complete given the pacing for this first arc. So unless they do something stupid and not make the next season then you are good, and just need to wait for the show to resume again! XD
Around the same time frame as well. From the hospital’s perspective, they clearly have been telling him to pull the plug, and they can do no more for her. To the point of saying that she has gone into the worst case scenario, and he needs to get there now. He says BRT with my entire family in tow. Only for him to arrive there with his daughter in arms and bringing her to even more doctors in the hospital and needing to put HER in the ER as well! I sure as hell want to know how he is… Read more »
Happy Pop Step is best Pop Step!
17:56 NOW that’s a match cut!
Also of note is that the way he tells her that she can’t see her “for now” and “You just missed her”, can be taken as you can’t see her for now (till you pass away one day too) and You just missed her (passing away, right before you woke up)
These possible hidden meanings are cryptic enough, to be taken with darker undertones
Damg this was a crazy reflection episode for the whole series thus far. We even finally get a sort of time frame with Knuckle-Duster only being with Koichi and Pop for a couple of months. Koichi is learning to grow into the Crawler all on his own as symbolized by Sensei give him the fist-breakers. So we now fully understand what he told Spike back then that the duo is only there for show in his view as he was able to get Makoto back.
Intriguing! Going off of your theory then the time placement for his side of the story jumps a lot given that before that we see him escaping from her bee attack (when he went to her school looking for her) on bike and his crew chewing him out, which by your take would take place way earlier than the next scene of him waiting at the hospital would be after all of this was said and done.
Another Fantastic Series has come to an end… For now! Can’t wait for season 2!
