That’s how it ends??? First the unnecessary recaps that took up large chunks of the episodes then a sudden cliff hanger that feels abrupt and forced? The story seems interesting enough and the animation wasn’t bad, but the pacing was horrendous. I probably won’t watch this if it gets a second season and just read the source material instead.
There is definitely a bit of an adventure after this point – I think I enjoyed the LN more though
