Yay? Yet another anime clone of random people firing / accusing of evil / calling the MC weak… and then they become the amazing hero that saves everyone because they really were amazingly strong, unflinchingly brave, and almost suicidally selfless all along…
Don’t get me wrong, that is an amazing plot… but by this time it’s been done a dozen or so times already in just the last couple years and I am over it. Why must these people keep pushing the same plots just because someone else was a hit with it instead of trying something unique? :/
I may be salty on this “Genre…” But you are so right. There has been… how many? We almost got one each season in the past 2 years. All with the same plot, it’s getting… kind of boring. I’ll hereby call this genre the “Banished”. For example, in Isekais, you’ll reborn in a new world and have a new life, but there are still a sh*t ton of route to go, besides the overly used ones.
