They skipped everything
I’m surprised they started with Til’s story, feels a bit off starting In Media Res, but considering the storyline from the Manga, I think it was a bold strategy in skipping the origin story and going into the plot, reminds me a bit of the opening to the second episode of “Slave Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World” where we get a glimpse of Protag-kun’s fully assembled Harem in the Future…
love this, looking forward to seeing why the name says “new life” mostly expecting a isekai experience lol
I personally suspect instead that it’s going to be one of those “My party kicked me out thinking I am worthless; but now I am free to actually shine as the best of my class (and someday make them regret kicking me out!)” type anime which has become a bit of a meme at this point with it being a dime a dozen in terms of overused plots.
