I wonder what Carmillia’s story is
I’m also curious. Maybe she has some reason for staying, or maybe she just refuses to move on just because. Either way I hope we get to find out soon.
My theory is that the house Zenos lives in was Carmillia’s family home, and for some reason her family left to go somewhere (for reason’s unrelated to Carmillia herself) and never came back. So Carmillia blamed herself, thinking they left because she was a nuisance, grew up and became a sage to try find her family but never found them again. So she haunts the family home in hopes one day her family will come back to her.
Zenos just happens to remind her of her family. Potentially her father who may or may not have been a Healer/Priest.
She blamed herself for being nuisance and yet even after century (or two) still aspires to be one anyway?
You know, there are 7 volumes of the source material already out there. And whole season of this fine piece of the animatography covers just 2 of them.
