Great episode! I really like the dynamic between Ryo and Abel. My only complaint is the fact that Abel didn’t question Ryo’s new attire even though he said previously he had no other clothes.
Very good observation! It is definitely a minor plot hole. That statement followed by introduction of a set of traveling clothes should have at least caused Abel to either look at him funny, or potentially caused him to think Ryo was lying earlier.
My thoughts as well, I figure that he probably considered this new attire to be his only good clothes so it is ones he doesn’t wear unless he had to, since he had no other clothes.
This is covered in the manga.
